Does scapular dyskinesis cause shoulder injury?

“My shoulder blade wings is this a problem?” The posh name for this is scapula dyskinesis, which is when the shoulder blade moves and sits abnormally on the rib cage. it is commonly thought to be linked to shoulder pain and injury but what does the evidence say about this link? Here is a study looking to asking the question, does scapular dyskinesis cause shoulder injury?
