This is an instructional video to correctly demonstrate Supine pelvic tilts with bent knees

The content in this video is provided for general information purposes only and is not meant to replace a physiotherapy or medical consultation.

Step by Step

  1. If you need to loosen you lower back and improve control and proprioception around your pelvis and hips then this is a great exercise.
  2. Remember this exercise should be pain free during after and the next day
  3. Lying on your back, put your feet flat on the floor with your knees bent to 90 degrees and your feet hip width apart
  4. Next tilt your pelvis into anterior tilt, which is to create an arch in your lower back
  5. Then reverse direction the opposite way into posterior tilt, which is to maximally flatten your lower back.
  6. If you are unsure if you are getting in right then you can place on hand in the small of your back to check the movement is correct.
  7. Repeat this movement 10 times and repeat 4-6 times per day

Online Physiotherapy

Put simply this is Physio done via either telephone or video over the internet. Skype and facetime are examples of this.

Contrary to popular belief online physiotherapy can be very effective and it can help the same injuries that face to face physio can help. I have helped many people with injuries such as disc prolapses, tennis elbow, neck pain and much more).
