Step by Step

  1. Hamstring extenders are an excellent exercise for lengthening your hamstrings
  2. It is a great exercise for hamstring strain rehabilitation.
  3. Lying on your back, lift your knee up towards your chest so that your hip is at 90 degrees.
  4. Hold your leg in position with your hands, just above your knee at the back.
  5. Next start to slowly straighten your knee to a stretching sensation but not pain
  6. Once you reach that point, slowly reverse the direction back to the start position.
  7. Perform 12 repetitions for 3 sets in total
  8. Repeat for the other side if required.
  9. You need to do this twice everyday
